## What counts as a "build minute"

A build minute is one minute of wall-clock time during active build work — source sync, compile, cook, stage, and upload. Queue / wait time before the build starts isn't counted.

A 12-minute warm build burns \~12 minutes. The first build for a branch (cold cache, full clone) burns more.

## Free tier limit

Free has a per-month build-minute limit. When you hit it:

* Push and scheduled triggers stop firing.
* Manual triggers return an error.
* The dashboard shows a banner with the upgrade option.

The counter resets at the start of each calendar month, UTC.

## Pro: per-seat pricing

A "seat" is any active member with role `owner`, `admin`, or `member` who has logged in within the last 90 days. Viewers don't count.

For teams that fluctuate, set inactive members to `viewer` (free) instead of removing them.

## Viewing usage

In the dashboard, **Settings → Billing** shows:

* Build minutes used this month
* Storage in use
* Forecasted bill at end of cycle

## Enterprise

Enterprise pricing is volume-based with custom terms. Typical contracts include:

* A reserved baseline of build minutes at a discounted per-minute rate.
* Console platform support (PS5 / Xbox / Switch).
* SLA-backed support response time.
* Optional dedicated build capacity.
